Pre-College: Attended Maryland College of Art & Design and The Corcoran School of Art non-credited classes (age 14-15)

High School: Walter Johnson H.S. main art teacher Jack Bledsoe-Wash. DC color field artist.

Attended Montgomery County's G&T Art Center at Albert Einstein High School.

First art show at the Smithsonian's Museum of American Art High School Graphics Show #7. Won Gallery 7's recognitions award.

College: Attended Pratt Institute of Art & Design in Brooklyn, NY (1981-82).

Worked at Wash. DC's 930 Nightclub, a hardcore/punk/new wave/experimental live music club (1982-84).

First professional art studio shared with DC-based artists Nancy Ballew and Jon Greenwald. Ran my 1st figure drawing class (1982-84);

Modeled for Vietnam Memorial Statue, sculpted by Frederick Hart (1982).

Started & funded an all-art punk/hardcore zine called the Boogins with artists from the U.S., Europe & South America. 8 issues total (1983-88).

Interned at Roman Osuna gallery (1984).

Second professional art studio in windowless basement of an office building in Kensington MD (1984-86).

Lived in Baltimore MD (1986-88) worked at the G.H. Dalsheimer Gallery. Gallery duties included visiting artists in NYC and consigning their work. Maintained art studio in separate room in my apartment.

Lived in Arlington VA (1988-90). Maintained art studio in separate room in my apartment. Ran Botswanna/Boomerang. An arts salon at the DC Art Center - Margaret Schnipper, Director. Ran a poetry open mike night at DC space.

Lived in Chicago IL (1990-92). Worked at galleries in River North (Silver Cloud & Billy Hork) and in the Loop downtown (Gem-Alexander). Maintained art studio in separate room in my apartment.

Lived in Los Angeles (1992-94). Worked as an assistant under various art direcectors in commercials & music videos. Maintained art studio in separate room in my apartment. Featured in filmmaker Anders Ericsson's documentary "Artworking."

Moved to Denver (1994-Present). Third Professional art studio in Five Points (1995-97). First solo-show at Hyphen-8 gallery Lodo. Various group shows at various galleries in Denver (Core, Spark, Pirate, Eclectic, Asylum for the Arts, Arvada Center, Planet-Off, 8-OZ Fred, Gallery 13...).

Fourth Professional Studio at 1280 Sherman St, above old Watercourse location (1997-99). Shows at various alternative galleries & businesses.

Fifth professional art studio at The Temple Events Center (2000-2006). Took over responsibilities for the Monday Night Figure Drawing Class held at the Temple. Various ongoing shows including a pro-pornography invitational show at Kent State.

Sixth profession art studio at 2441 Eliot St (2006-2008). Monday night figure drawing class expanded to Wednesday & Thursday nights. Drawing class featured in CW2 News spot. Various shows around town including Dazzle Restaurant & Lounge.

Seventh professional art studio at the Otherside Arts Building. Monday and Wednesday figure drawing art ongoing.
